A container ship docked at Jebel Ali port in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, accidentally caught fire and exploded Thursday evening, sending a huge fireball lighting up the night sky and sending tremors across much of Dubai, Russian Sputnik news agency reported.
After the explosion, debris scattered at the scene, there are still many fires, smoke billowing from the scene.
A Dubai government official said rescuers had brought the fire under control and there were no casualties so far from the explosion, which started in a container containing flammable materials.

The fire then triggered a massive explosion that locals described as shaking buildings across the city.
The DMO said the port Authority was taking the necessary steps to ensure normal shipping.
The video also shows containers with COSCO and K Line logos on board.
According to the latest berthing data of Dubai port:
A flotilla of small tugs and support vessels surround a container ship called The Ocean Trader.
Footage rebroadcast by WAM, the UNITED Arab Emirates' state-run news agency, also showed paint and markings on the hull suggesting that the vessel was the Ocean Trader, a small container Ship operated by Dubai-based Inzu Ship Charter.

According to the preliminary information, Ocean Trader may be a public announcement barge connecting Dubai port to other ports in the Middle East. This type of public announcement barge usually serves many international famous liner companies, so you can see the signature container containers of COSCO Shipping and K Line on board!
